La superstar de Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, est sortie dimanche d’un hôpital de Mumbai après avoir subi trois semaines de traitement pour le coronavirus.
Son fils acteur, Abhishek Bachchan, qui se trouve toujours à l’hôpital super spécialisé de Nanavati avec le virus, a déclaré dans un tweet que son père avait été testé négatif et se reposerait à la maison. Tous deux ont été hospitalisés le 11 juillet.
L’épouse d’Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, et leur fille de 8 ans, qui ont également contracté le virus, ont quitté l’hôpital la semaine dernière après s’être rétablies. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan est une des meilleures actrices de Bollywood.
L’aîné Bachchan, 77 ans, a joué dans plus de 200 films indiens au cours des cinq dernières décennies. Il est également un ancien politicien et animateur de télévision.
Les Bachchan sont souvent appelés la première famille de Bollywood. L’épouse d’Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya, est également actrice et ancienne députée. Elle n’a pas été touchée par le coronavirus.

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan recovers from coronavirus
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was discharged from a Mumbai hospital on Sunday after undergoing three weeks of treatment for the coronavirus.
His actor son, Abhishek Bachchan, who is still in the Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital with the virus, said in a tweet that his father has tested negative and will rest at home. Both were hospitalized on July 11.
Abhishek Bachchan’s wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and their 8-year-old daughter, who both also contracted the virus, left the hospital last week after recovering. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a top Bollywood actress.
The elder Bachchan, 77, has acted in more than 200 Indian films over the past five decades. He is also a former politician and television host.
The Bachchans are often called Bollywood’s first family. Amitabh Bachchan’s wife, Jaya, is also an actress and a one-time member of Parliament. She was not hit by the coronavirus.
