Jamie Foxx et Teyonah Parris ont rejoint le casting d’un nouveau film de science-fiction de Netflix.
L’acteur de 52 ans et l’actrice de 32 ans joueront dans le film Netflix et Macro They Cloned Tyrone, réalisé par le scénariste de Creed 2, Juel Taylor.
Foxx et Parris rejoignent John Boyega, dont le casting a été annoncé en octobre. Ils joueront un trio improbable qui enquêtera sur une série d’événements étranges dans le film de câpres pulpeux.
Taylor a co-écrit le scénario avec Tony Rettenmaier. Taylor et Rettenmaier coproduiront le film avec Foxx, Datari Turner, Charles D. King, Stephen « Dr. » Love et Kim Roth.
Foxx a récemment joué dans le film Project Power de Netflix, dont la première a eu lieu en août. Il jouera dans la série de Netflix Dad Stop Embarrassing Me, une comédie inspirée par sa relation avec sa fille Corinne.
Parris a joué Dawn Chambers dans la série AMC Mad Men et Lysistrata dans le film Chi-Raq de 2015. Elle jouera dans le prochain film Candyman, co-écrit et produit par Jordan Peele.
Boyega a joué le rôle de Finn dans la trilogie de la suite de Star Wars. Il a déclaré dans le numéro d’octobre de British GQ que Finn et d’autres personnages de couleur ont finalement été « poussés sur le côté » par Disney dans les films.

Jamie Foxx and Teyonah Parris have joined the cast of a new Netflix sci-fi film.
The 52-year-old actor and 32-year-old actress will star in the Netflix and Macro movie They Cloned Tyrone, directed by Creed 2 writer Juel Taylor.
Foxx and Parris join John Boyega, whose casting was announced in October. The three will play an unlikely trio investigating a series of eerie events in the pulpy caper film.
Taylor co-wrote the screenplay with Tony Rettenmaier. Taylor and Rettenmaier will co-produce the film with Foxx, Datari Turner, Charles D. King, Stephen « Dr. » Love and Kim Roth.
Foxx most recently starred in the Netflix film Project Power, which premiered in August. He will star in the Netflix series Dad Stop Embarrassing Me, a comedy inspired by his relationship with his daughter Corinne.
